The General Directorate of Sudanese Police held a ceremony in Khartoum to honor and bid farewell to several senior officers at the ranks of Major General and Brigadier, recognizing their years of distinguished service to the nation.
The event was attended by Lieutenant General Amir Abdulmoneim Fadl, Director General of Police, alongside Lieutenant General Dr. Siraj Al-Din Mansour Khalid, Khartoum State Police Chief, and Mohamed Ahmed Al-Haj, Acting Secretary-General of the Khartoum State Government, representing the Governor. He also wished success to those transferred to new positions.
The Secretary-General of the Khartoum State Government, representing the Governor, commended the police for their active participation in the “Battle of Dignity” alongside the armed forces, maintaining order across the state through widespread patrols, checkpoints, and coordinated operations.
On behalf of the honored officers, Major General Mohamed Salman expressed gratitude to the leadership of Khartoum Police for recognizing their service, saying the force has always been a “school of discipline and sacrifice,” leaving a proud legacy of loyalty and commitment to national duty.
Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Khalifa, representing the organizing committee, noted that this annual tradition of honoring retiring officers reflects the police’s enduring culture of gratitude and respect toward those who have dedicated their lives to public safety.
