Moshad Observatory: RSF Committed Mass Killings of Over 1,200 Civilians in El Fasher Hospitals

The Moshad Observatory said in a press statement that it is following with grave concern and deep sorrow the horrific crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher, describing them as systematic massacres targeting civilians.
According to the Observatory, RSF units conducted sweeping raids across residential neighborhoods, executing more than 1,200 elderly people, wounded civilians, and patients inside hospitals and medical centers, in what it called a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
The organization reported that the mass killings, ongoing for the third consecutive day, amount to a deliberate and organized extermination campaign that has primarily targeted elderly civilians in North Darfur State.
The Moshad Observatory called on the international community, the UN Security Council, and global human rights organizations to act immediately to halt the atrocities and hold those responsible accountable.
The statement further described the events in El Fasher as a “complete crime against humanity”, warning of a dangerous pattern of ethnic and tribal cleansing that threatens to escalate if impunity persists.
It urged the formation of an independent international investigation committee under the supervision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to document the crimes and ensure justice for the victims.
Observers say the scale and brutality of the El Fasher massacres have intensified calls for global intervention, as humanitarian agencies struggle to access the city amid ongoing violence.
